Cartoon Yourself Assignment

This is the original picture of me.

This is the cartoon version of me. I did this assignment in the same style as the Mona Lisa assignment. I first traced the original picture with a 3px brush. Then I used the paint bucket tool to fill the contour drawing in with colors. Lastly, I changed the opacity of the brush and changed the colors to a bit darker shade to add highlights and shadings to the drawing. I was going to add a background picture to this piece, but I wanted to be able to make shadings in the background so I ended up leaving the background white.
